Welcome to our website

herbs used in complementary medicineEstablished in 1982, the Centre for Complementary and Integrated Medicine is a specialist complementary medical clinic treating both private and NHS patients. Using treatments such as homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional medicine we can help with a wide range of conditions including allergies, Candida, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, migraine and thyroid disease.

Complementary medicine, also known as Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), involves several different types of treatment or therapy. Each of our doctors is skilled in a range of different complementary therapies. This multi-disciplinary approach allows us to provide patients with the most suitable therapy (or combination of therapies) for their healthcare needs. By taking the time to talk through your individual condition, your doctor will be able to identify the therapy best suited to helping you.

All doctors and nurses at the CCIM are fully qualified in conventional medicine. Their expertise ensures that you will always be in safe medical hands.

This website describes the work of the Centre, but also contains much useful information. Within the site you will find detailed information on a range of complementary therapies, and also on particular medical conditions which can be treated by complementary medicine.
