and nutritional medicine. He is a Clinical Fellow and Director of Education
at one of the country’s leading homeopathic hospitals.

George Lewith MA, DM, FRCP, MRCGP
Professor Lewith is an honorary consultant at Southampton Hospital, and
was the first doctor in complementary medicine in England to receive Specialist
Training Authority accreditation as a Complementary Medical Physician.
He works at Southampton University and is the author of various books and
papers on complementary therapies.
Research
Doctors from the Centre have published over 150 papers, some in high quality
peer review journals such as the British Medical Journal, The Lancet and
Pain. They have also published a number of practical books for complementary
therapists, as well as technical academic texts.
